Timothy's Birthday Celebration
from his family in the States
Our Naomi sent Timothy a small box of
Chocolate Chip Cookies with the Voetberg family traveling to
Ghana.
He said that eating the cookies was just like being home
standing in the kitchen eating fresh baked cookies!
Days in
Ghana
The Week of March 2,
2008
Shovels
make great umbrellas for
when you have to work in the rain!!"
...Then
when you are done working
you just take a little shower ;) "
This
little table took us hours!!
But seriously,
in the states we could
sell it for a small
fortune."
No
sam (or nathaniel) you cannot
have my jersey;)
Mosquitoes
have horrible
nightmares about these things =)
This house where the missionaries live has been
under construction, so to speak,
for the last twelve
years. Slowly, it is being
completed -
as funds,
time and labour allows. "His Vision
Mission"
is the Name (and the purpose).
Another day in
Ghana
on Tuesday, February 26, 2008
Clement
was painting and got
a little too close to the wires that
Cornelias forgot to cover up, it gave
him a little 240v jolt and threw the
paintbrush out of
his hand.
Not
even a joke - he pretty much
almost died.. =O "
This is the living room and meeting room where the
school will be held.
Notice an answer to prayer: electricity!
In this picture, Timothy and Clement are having
devotions time
and then it will be on to the work
on the fence outside.
First,
Timothy worked to even
out the hillside and then on to splitting the bamboo
poles for the fence.
The work was arduous because of the sun and
heat, but Timothy says
it was 'great fun.'
Timothy and
his friend, Clement. They have a wonderful time
working together.
Thus endeth another
wonderful day in the life of a missionary in Ghana
