A Letter from Timothy;  Tarkwa, Ghana, West Africa  on Friday, April 10, 2008

Hello all!

I was able to get a brief update last night about the traveling training program!  It sounds like you all are having a wonderful and encouraging time!

Just a quick update on the recent events over here.

We were planning on starting a short training program at the beginning of May.

But just a few days ago the group from Togo showed up very eager to start!!

Here they are helping us finish getting the place all set up.

'Caught us by surprise but we know the Lord's way is best!

Three of them speak French and only a small-small amount of English.  So please pray for Brother Emmanuel as he interprets for us!

Papers are ready for teaching and we're all ready to start classes

I also praise the Lord for his protection!

In order to get our residency papers we all had to get physicals.

Just after they drew my blood i felt a little dizzy and then fainted.  Now that wasn't bad but the trip from the chair to the floor was what got me! Thank the Lord James had the presence of mind to press on my chest in an effort to revive me and when that didn't work mouth to mouth was required.  Praise the Lord that restored my breathing and after a while I was lucid again.  In the fall I got a little cut on my forehead so please pray that will not get infected.

Now most would dismiss it as an accident but we are quite convinced it was an attack by the devil.

While I was under it felt like I was being trampled by a herd of elephants while being caught in a tornado with a few memories thrown in!!

So I praise the Lord he brought me through safely.

Also, the situation with the man staying in the house still has not been resolved, he attempted to have James arrested again just a few days ago.  So this week we have divided up the days so that all can pray for one hour.  It's taken us a while but we have given up on the police and the area Chief and now we are relying only on prayer to solve this situation.

I hope you all are encouraged from all the teaching of this last weekend and continue to take advantage of this great privilege for the continuation of the week.  We are praying for you all!  The problem with the trailer comes as no surprise considering the spiritual warfare seminar that was just taught.  It is a blessing to hear about all those who went out to preach the gospel!  From the sound of the opposition endured the enemy was quite upset!  Praise the Lord.

Blessing to you all--tim
