Cats are
prolific members of the food chain. Their numbers
increase daily and their usefulness to the food chain is
inestimable. While these animals are
significant members, their production far outweighs
their consumption (read: being consumed). Their
value can be assessed only by impartial carnivores,
though it would be assumed that even they might not
prefer this weeks' featured Food Chain Today subject: CATS.
Though
these animals do not contribute significantly to the
quality of the chain or the web, they do, in fact,
contribute to the volume. The number of available
cats is rather seasonable and so there is a measure of
flux in the production/consumption. This mustn't
be alarming, it simply indicates the necessity of making
this member available in the off season by allowing this
member freedom to fulfill obligations to membership of
this chain.
This will
aid in the ongoing quality of the food chain or web and
contribute greatly to potential lapses in productivity
and potential environmental hindrances and concerns.
Consequently, it would be most advantageous to support
the efforts and make your donations today.

UPDATE
There is a potential threat to the cat population or the
cat's proliferation and benefit to the food chain.
Seems that the Humane Society of Wisconsin is concerned
that the cats are eating too many birds and so there is
an attempt to neuter/spay them to reduce the numbers.
It is unknown why they do not simply allow the cats to
participate naturally in the food chain rather than
putting them at such risk and great disadvantage.
